The World Can’t Keep Up

2012. Well if you happen to know about this fascinating yet disturbing issue, you ain’t alone. Some believe it to be the dawn of Apocalypse, others hope.

Its a new era for me. December 21st 2012. Honestly, its tingling me with a profound sense of curiosity. If you ever bother reading documentaries you will know that the Earth is in crucial state. Global Warming is dead serious, and no I’m not only referring to ocean levels rising and all. Let me try to raise your goose pimples by giving some insight.

With Global Warming comes the destruction of ocean currents especially the conveyor current which is essential to life. It brings not only water but surprisingly warmth, nutrients and oxygen. The starting point of the of this current is at the Arctic where cold water sinks to generate the energy for the current, so imagine with Global Warming the water at the Arctic wouldn’t be cold at all; it won’t sink; the conveyor current stops. Seems alright? Water will become stagnant, photosynthesis will be gone since the Phytoplankton will be rendered useless. Hydrogen sulphide will be the inevitable because of stagnant water, which leads to cyanide that will be released into the atmosphere. Extinction. The World just can’t keep up man. Humans are advancing too fast. Were the invention of cellphones and air-conditioners what God had in mind when He created us?

Too much to take? Its only the tip of the iceberg man, and I don’t know whether WordPress’s post capacity is that huge. Countless sighs of exhaustion can’t express my regret in contributing to this destruction. Yes I acknowledge the fact that I am a hypocrite, we all are. Look at us, as one form of humanity. Humans were born perfect; its the imperfections that make us perfect. But you see, are we that special? Maybe. Probably our ability to express our emotions.

I believe when God created us with emotions, its a double-edged sword. Can you imagine life without emotions? No one can, I’ve tried. Sad to say, its these emotions that result in Greed, Selfishness and Anger. You might say well we can Love. So why not love the world? Destruction is in our DNA. If you have watched Terminator you might have noticed this quote: ” Its the destiny of humans to destroy themselves.” So come what may, I hope 2012 happens. A final plead, an awakening. Alas, a new era.
